APPLICATION DEADLINE JUNE 1ST, 2026
The Technology Student Association (TSA) at Braden River Middle School is a student organization focused on technology, engineering, leadership, and problem solving. TSA members participate in hands on projects, collaborative design challenges, and competitive events that allow students to apply what they learn in real world situations.
Students in grades 6 through 8 have the opportunity to explore areas such as robotics, computer science, engineering design, multimedia production, and emerging technologies while also developing leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. TSA encourages creativity, innovation, responsibility, and perseverance as students work toward goals, compete at regional and state conferences, and represent their school through their work and professionalism.
Hands-On Projects
Members participate in hands on projects where they design, build, create, and problem solve using technology and engineering concepts. Students work both independently and in teams to develop projects throughout the year.
Competitions
Students have the opportunity to compete in regional, state, and national TSA competitions in a variety of STEM related events. Many competitions involve engineering design, robotics, coding, multimedia production, presentations, and problem solving challenges.
Leadership Development
TSA members develop leadership skills through teamwork, communication, event planning, mentoring younger members, and serving as chapter officers. Students learn responsibility, time management, and professionalism.
Teamwork and Collaboration
Many TSA events require students to work as a team to complete projects, presentations, and engineering challenges. Members learn how to collaborate, solve problems together, and support each other.
Community Involvement
TSA members participate in community events, outreach activities, and fundraising efforts throughout the year. Students learn the importance of giving back and representing their school and organization in a positive way.
